Being the pleasure garden of Lord Jagganath, the focus of the garden is the central playa/amphitheatre. This will facilitate the gathering of people when the ‘BIJE Pratimas’ (the representative images) of the Lord visit the Matha on the festive occasions. Moving outward from here, an organic pattern of pathways creates a network around the flower beds. These beds specifically consist of flowers offered to the Lord during numerous festivals. Gazebos interwoven with the waterbodies aim to provide a surreal experience to the visitors almost in continuation of the calmness of the vicinity of the temple.
