-To understand the urban fabric at a neighborhood scale, urban study documentation was carried out.
-In order to be well equipped to formulate the urban design framework for the heritage quarter it was necessary to identify the important streets, heritage structures, movement patterns of pedestrian and vehicle nodes, festival rituals, intersections, land use patterns, and public amenities.
-Major intersections were identified and documented in detail to identify the scope for intervention and development.
